Dr. Armstrong is an Associate Professor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical International and Director of Medical Education. In this capacity, she coordinates the curriculum planning efforts across the four-year program and the educational management of the faculty development and student assessment programs. She is also the Director of the Harvard-Macy Institute offering professional development programs for physician-educators and leaders of reform in medical education.

Dr. Armstrong received her B.S. from Cornell University, Master of Arts in Teaching from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in Curriculum Design and Instruction from Boston College. She has served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Hartford and at the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. Dr. Armstrong has worked on a wide range of curriculum reform and faculty development projects at American, European and Australian Medical Schools and U.S. Health Maintenance Organizations.
